the salon:collective unhinge and disseminate

This Monday evening, the salon:collective met for their first development session. Using our shared methodology of approach we launched directly into a raw and volatile exploration of the relationships in the first act of Chekhov’s The Seagull.
The results were beautifully realised by the collective of actors, and the road towards a reworking of The Seagull is now open.
I will be updating this blog with thoughts, findings and developments as we progress.
A brilliant start to our creative adventures. Really found this first session so useful- being on the inside of something, experiencing it, rather than intellectually thinking about it from the outside.
Wonderful evening of exploration, mining the fascinating interpersonal themes inherent in the text.
